A training workshop on the topic of women's economic empowerment.

In celebration of International Women in Diplomacy Day, observed on June 24 each year, the Sahara Observatory for Peace, Democracy, and Human Rights organized a training workshop for women on the topic of women's economic empowerment. The event took place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
Women’s roles are no longer confined to traditional spheres; they now extend to fields that were once exclusive to men. Among these fields, diplomacy stands out, as it demands a unique set of skills that combines political insight with negotiation expertise. Success in this field is closely linked to women’s economic empowerment; financial independence and self-confidence gained through economic empowerment open up a wide range of opportunities for women to achieve their professional ambitions and reach decision-making positions.
Additionally, the education and training that accompany economic empowerment enable women to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to excel in diplomacy. With the growing political influence of economically successful women, they are increasingly capable of playing an impactful and effective role in promoting international peace and stability. Therefore, women’s economic empowerment is not only a tool for achieving social justice but also a fundamental pillar for diplomatic success and for guiding societies toward a brighter future.
